To promote;
a) Public Awareness,
b) Accountability,
c) Effectiveness, and
d) Sustainability
of infrastructure projects and programs that are funded by the people of Ghana in the Transport and Agriculture sectors.
This Objective will be pursued through the following key Actions;
1. Promoting the interest and involvement of the general public in projects and programs
2. Communicating to the general public the Objectives (planned/expected outcomes) of projects and programs
3. Advocacy for enhancing the interests of direct beneficiaries and resident communities of projects and programs
4. Educating direct beneficiaries and resident communities of projects on project specific social, environmental, and climate change implications and also the mitigation measures
5. Track Progress, Issues, Impacts/Outcomes; compare with the planned, analyze any deviations, make recommendations, and communicate all to stakeholders
6. Track completed Projects/Programs to see if they are functioning well as intended, and document challenges as well as lessons and communicate
7. Provide feedback/inputs to stakeholders for improving the preparation, implementation, and performance of similar future Projects/Programs
Actions 5, 6, and 7 will be performed within the framework of Monitoring & Evaluation.
