The structure of the Organization has a Board of Trustees at the top of the hierarchy. The Board will make major decisions about the organization including the review and validation of the strategic choices and direction of the organization. The Board has overall oversight responsibility.
There is a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who is responsible for shaping the strategic direction and choices of the organization and also implementing them. He provides general direction and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organization.
The CEO is responsible for carrying out the decisions of the Board and also reports to the Board. Working with the CEO are Directors who are functional area Heads. Each functional Department is made up of the Director and other skilled staff who perform specific duties and also undertake field work.
There are five functional Departments; 1. Partnerships & Fundraising (Marketing & Fundraising) 2. Operations 3. Communication & Public Engagement 4. Administration & Human Resources 5. Finance
